On Thursday, 11 October 2018, we will present the Digital Transformers Award (DTA) to the person effecting the greatest digital change in the Netherlands. This is the fourth edition of the award; last year’s winner was Gerhard van der Bijl of Royal FloraHolland. Dutch Digital transformers have until 10 September to register. It is also possible to nominate someone else.
Digital transformation is no longer the preserve of tech start-ups – more and more traditional companies are leading the charge in digital transformation. Even so, there will be a growing demand for digital transformers in the coming years to help transform these organizations. This award places the best ‘change-maker’ squarely in the limelight.
The main assessment criteria for the award are based on the presence of three properties:
- The ideal digital transformer has a clear digital vision and proven leadership qualities.
- The candidate works for an organization in which the digital transformation is of crucial importance.
- We also look at the candidate's capacity for realization, based on the impact and results achieved.
An independent jury of experts is involved in the entire selection process, from the longlist to the nominations, and ultimately determines this year’s winner.
Opportunity for knowledge-sharing and networking
This year’s Digital Transformers Award ceremony will take place in The Loft of the A'DAM Tower and will be presented by Jim Stolze, a pioneer of digital transformation and a driving force behind the European TEDx conferences. The event will bring digital talent in the Netherlands in contact with companies that are playing digital catch-up, and offer participants opportunities to learn, discuss and network.
Registering for DTA
All ‘change-makers’ who are closely involved in the digital transformation of their organization can nominate themselves or another person for the award online. Registration closes on 10 September.
