After enjoying last year’s meetup on designing for iOS and Android, we’re happy to announce that the Amsterdam UX community will return to Mirabeau on Thursday November 10.
We’re expecting around 100 designers, prototypers, technologists and makers to meet up in our new Amsterdam HQ for an evening of inspiring talks, tasty food, drinks and networking. This meetup coincides with World Usability Day 2016, a global event that brings together the wider design community around a shared objective.
This year’s theme is Sustainable UX. Which makes sense, given that sustainability and UX design are both about creating the best experience for people. Green UX draws from individual needs and goals to generate products and services that both improve user experience and increase the convenience of environmentally friendly behaviours.
Maarten Kappert, creative lead at Mirabeau, will share his thoughts on the best way to communicate about sustainability. Maarten will elaborate on the different narratives that are used in (online) communication about sustainability, and their fit—and misfit—with user behavioural psychology.
19:00 – Welcome: pizza & drinks
19:30 – Talks & discussion
21:00 – Drinks & networking
RSVP opens on November 3 at 12.00 P.M. Use this link to sign up.
